SCAR Counseling Offices

Bailey Dahlgren is a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Therapist who works primarily with children and families at Midwest Encouragement and Counseling Center in Kearney and Holdrege. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and brings with her a strong foundation in education, having spent five years as a teacher before transitioning into the field of counseling. Through this experience, Bailey gained a deep understanding of the academic, emotional, and developmental needs of children—insight that continues to shape her work as a therapist. She believes wholeheartedly that every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and loved.
Bailey’s counseling approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in each family’s unique strengths. She focuses on fostering deeper connections, building healthier patterns of interaction, and creating a safe space where families can grow together. Her goal is to provide encouragement and practical tools that help children and families leave therapy feeling more connected, supported, and empowered to thrive.
