MADD Victim Impact Panel
A MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) panel is a Victim Impact Panel (VIP)designed to educate offenders of alcohol or drug-impaired driving. The purpose is to help offenders understand the real-life consequences of their actions by hearing directly from victims and survivors of impaired driving crashes. These panels aim to create empathy, break down denial, and ultimately deter future offenses by highlighting the tragic, long-term impacts of such crimes.
